Recently, there was an article in the update that talked about the dangers of teens sending nude pictures of themselves electronically or posting them on line.   Can you believe a recent survey points out that one in five teens (13 to 19 years old) have participated in this?  Fifty-one percent of teen girls said they send sexy messages or images because they are “pressured by a guy”.  This survey was completed by a total of 1, 280 respondents.  Among the most disturbing findings of the study was that 44% of both teen girls and teen boys say it is common for sexually suggestive text messages to get shared with pople other than the intended recipient; a similar finding was observed with nude or semi-nude photos. 

This activity is getting way to acceptable among the teens and definitely out of hand.  They simply do not understand the consequences of this behavior.
