Common Sense or Condom Cents?

For two centuries our forefathers did not have the advantage of any comprehensive sex education.   They had no instruction on how to use condoms because there weren’t any.   They didn’t know about the dangers of what was then known as “venereal disease,”   because they were also extremely rare.    Those were the days when there were also only two genders.    Surgery for gender change hadn’t been invented.    It was only after Kinsey that freedom was defined as license to do whatever you want to do.  If it feels good do it.   The purpose of life is pleasure and sexual gratification.  To our forefathers,  moral restraints and responsibility were the basis for freedom and that philosophy was well understood by the majority of our citizens.

The forefathers without any of these benefits about learning about how their body functions,  and comprehensive sex,  still somehow managed to procreate.   They managed to pick mates with a very low divorce rate because to them love was a decision.  It was a commitment,   not an emotion or a feeling.   How did our country ever survive until now without comprehensive sex education?

The more we learn about comprehensive sex ed,  the greater the appetite for what is learned.   If there is no God,   there is no moral standard to steer our lives.   We’re sending young people out on the stormiest sea of life with no fixed stars to steer by,  no compasses,  no rudders and no anchors.   And we wonder why their lives end up shipwrecked on the sea shore of life.      We’ve changed our moral code to match our behavior,  rather than change our behavior to match a fixed moral code.   Is something good because it’s sanctioned or should it be sanctioned because it’s good.   Who is the source of moral authority?  Is it the majority thinking at any  given time based on political correctness?   Or is it a higher power that was well recognized by our forefathers?   It was a philosophy they were more than willing to die for,  and pledge their lives,  fortunes,  and sacred honor.    Today the comprehensive sex crowed says they don’t believe in pledges.    Pledges just don’t work.     Thank God the founders of this great nation didn’t have that philosophy.   Just think if they would have signed the Declaration of Independence with the following words:

We mutually hope we’re on the right track,  we hope what we wrote doesn’t offend the British,  and if so,  we would like to see what kind of compromise we could work out with them so they don’t kill us.  We want to have all the sex we want for any reason and for that we will all sacrifice our lives.   Life is only about pleasure,  and if we have to lay down our lives for more pleasure,  so be it.    They didn’t say that at all.  They said,  “WE MUTUALLY PLEDGE OUR VERY LIVES,  OUR FORTUNES AND OUR SACRED HONOR’  To them liberty was more precious than life itself.   And what did they want to do with their liberty?   They wanted the freedom to recognize God as their source of moral authority.  They wanted the freedom to dream and build a new nation predicated on the principle that all men are created equal.  They are endowed by their CREATOR with certain inalienable rights,  among which are life,  liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  They PLEDGED their lives for a cause much greater themselves.   It had nothing to do with their own self interest.   And they did and many paid the ultimate price with their lives,  the lives of their families,  and their fortunes,   so many now can now falsely interpret the freedom they fought for to mean license to live without responsibility and moral restraints.

The comprehensive sex ed people and social planners  have a philosophy that the solution to all our social problems is LATEX!   If everyone just had enough latex and we had free love and free sex for everyone,  any time,  any place,  for any reason,  we would all live in utopia.     That philosophy will destroy America faster than the Al Quada.

We’ve reached the stomach-turning point in America.  It’s time to clean out the cesspool and plant some flowers.    Any sex education that is not based on moral restraint and responsibility is chipping away at the very foundation of this great nation.    And if the foundation be  destroyed,  what will the people do?        President Herbert Hoover once said,  “We’re treating symptoms instead of causes in this country.”   “We’re expecting things to come out of our people that haven’t been put in there.”    “And we’ve got to start home by home,  school by school,  community by community and instill back into our people those reliable traits of character and responsibility upon which this country was founded.”

And that my friends is what real comprehensive education is all about.
