The Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health (ICAH) recently hosted an adult-only fundraiser featuring a “neo-burlesque performance” by a former Miss Exotic World. ICAH strongly advocates the use of “comprehensive” sex education for school children.

Of course my initial thought is, “How does this even seem like a good idea?” Apparently they’re not too concerned about PR, considering the venue of their last fundraiser (the headquarters of Playboy Enterprises). Not that they need to be concerned; the media doesn’t criticize them for it anyway.

At any rate, this is a good example of the advocates of “comprehensive” sex education thumbing their noses at the opposition (including parents) and showing just what sort of principles they abide by. These people are not to be trusted with our children’s education.
